GeoVENA

The points on this map are target coordinates produced by GeoVENA, a proprietary predictive targeting system. This was a blind run: no mine locations were given to the system. Each target is shown with the nearest known open pit mine and its distance from the edge of that pit.

In this run, 16 targets land within 500 meters of an open pit mine. The closest lies 31 meters from the pit edge. The mines are Bald Mountain, Pan and Robinson. Each hit can be checked independently on satellite imagery and in public mine records.

The run covered one full map sheet of about 9,500 km². Ground within 500 meters of these pits is less than 1% of that area, so by chance about 1.5 of the 222 targets would fall there. 16 did. The chance of that happening at random is about 1 in 260 billion.

The same run also produced additional target points that do not coincide with any currently known mine. They were generated by the identical process and carry the same calculated potential. They are undrilled and unverified, and they are not shown here.

Every target is produced through a systematic, repeatable computational process. The method and its underlying inputs are proprietary and are not described here.
